Berceuse for Levi

(2019)

For Solo Piano, 2’

Berceuse for Levi was the first piece I ever composed for piano. I composed this in September of 2019 a month before my dear Nephew Levi was born as lullaby for him. I composed it to use nothing but the white keys on the piano in hopes when he gets older, he might want to play the piece himself. I suppose it has somewhat of a Japanese flavor to it as well. This piece will continue to mean a lot to me.

Written on the occasion of my nephew Levi’s birth.
