The Felted Bells.
Les Cloches Feutrées or The Felted Bells in English, was composed in August of 2020 in the Berkshires. I had just produced & arranged a two song EP with my dear friend Conor Mulroy, whose 2 pieces were influenced by Arvo Pärt’s Tintinnabuli method. I would say my composition uses Tintinnabuli as a more spiritual influence & borrows the idea of a 3rd & 4th bell from pieces of Ravel.
